What an Elegant Goose! |
| Paper Title |
Mouse over a title and the Monkey displays a paper brief |
| In the Beginning | One day before his election, a large number of bloggers were proclaiming Barack's goose was cooked. To the contrary, his goose was strutting straight for the White House. The author rushed out to purchase twin domains which will document Obama's goose strutting through Washington. After grading graduate students' papers for 27 years, grading Obama's papers will be a refreshing change for an old academic dog for the next four years. |
| The Financial Crisis | See what happens when the fox is in charge of the financial henhouse. The historic roots, primary perpetrators, and behind the scenes enablers leave blood all over the crime scene. Unfortunately, none of the suspects will ever admit complicity for the millions they collected, nor the havoc they created. |
| Energy Independence | When environmentalists are present, any discussion of energy independence changes genetically from a laudable goal to a fairy tale. Hold onto your wallets and hide every trace of wealth before the clean air police start subsidizing renewable everything, and demonize everything else. Environmental pain will become our sovereign masters. |
| Fannie & Freddie | From congressional testimony in 2009, Fannie and Freddie avoided high risk loans for years. It is also clear that greed and the capacity to profit personally in 2005 lead Fannie and Freddie's executives to make the disastrous decisions that lead a world-wide meltdown in the financial markets. |
| Spread the Wealth | To each according to his need, and from each according to his ability is central to Marxist redistribution philosophy. This great country's level of generosity is amply documented, and explains the immigration of countless people for what some consider to be a free lunch. Obama's belief that more should be done attests to his programmatic ignorance, ingrained minority victim status, or both. Neither is appropriate for a chief executive in a capitalist society. |
| The Carbon Demons | The first principle of research design is that one can neither prove nor disprove that which has never happened. Failing this test for global warming, the bureaucratic zealots take my advice and go straight for the throat by demonizing carbon as a pollutant. May God help us all. |
| Consensus of Turkeys | An incredible parallel exists between the consensus of turkeys observed as a child and the bureaucratic cult of global warming alarmists gathered around the EPA. Like those who proclaimed the Titanic was unsinkable, so the current consensus of bureaucratic turkeys in the EPA, mostly non-scientists, are on the same fatal road. |
| EPA Science:Cow Tax | The potential cow, corn, and carbon tax blows the whistle on EPA's science. It is time to pull the curtain back on these so-called scientists in Oz before they kill the goose that lays the golden egg, America's struggling economy. |
| The Obama Role Model | At least three keys to the Obama's success stand in striking contrast with the standard cultural practices of many in the black community. As role models, many brothers and sisters would profit handsomely by following their lead. |
| Feeding Frenzy | At feeding time on the beach there is no difference in the DNA of hungry birds and humans in organizations. The morsels in this case are loose money, free money, money for the taking. It is a government grab-bag, a paper piņata. When it breaks, grab the loot and run. Such irresponsible greed is mainstream political behavior in Washington. In this feeding frenzy, Obama discovers Pandora's box! |
| Thousand-Page Outrage | Obama's stimulus package illustrates a government in acute crisis. In times of such financial stress, shouldn't they all follow at least one known principle: At least do no harm! So they enact additional massive debt and a thousand page document which nobody reads before they vote. It is a legislative outrage! |
| Nation of Cowards | Attorney General Eric Holder does not spell out the exact context he uses to validate this broadly generalized condemnation, a nation of cowards. In the next sentence he mentions the great disparity in the proportion of black persons in the nation's prisons! Is this disparity based solely upon racial prejudice? The nation's highest policeman should respond. |
| Stimulus and Omnibus | In response to massive new debt, the Obama administration proposes a new tax that is not a tax, but new government revenue. The environmentalists' huge cap and trade solution will be the fatal blow to the economy, rendering the Goose that laid the golden egg on a slab in the morgue. No new jobs here, Barack. And no more foreign funding of our public or private debt to grow America's economy. What to do now?? |
| Barack's Brain | After doing as much damage as possible to the economy, Obama turns his attention to the next global crisis, global warming. His associates, his science, and his decisions indicate that he is a full-fledged member of the global warming cult. The taxpayer and the man on the street will be on the hook for the next decade or two. |
| When Words Matter | Words are used to convey the intentions of the speaker, to draw a connection between what one says and what one does. Unfortunately there are those whose words are a smokescreen designed to mislead the masses, a distraction from their real intentions. Obama's words have moved from change we can believe in to words which mean nothing at all. |
| About the Author | Having traveled the world for over seven decades, I agree with Dorothy: There is no place like home. Unfortunately, there are many folks who live in Oz and will follow any wizard. Obama is an unknown, and as the curtain is pulled back we will discover little depth and much depravity. At this point, March 3, 2009, I believe his own self-assessment is that he has not yet, quite, reached God-like status. He will not be a loving God, but a vengeful God. His misguided rebuilding of America brick by brick is a frightening picture. |

The first career was Mr. Toad's Wild Ride for seven years with the U.S. Navy. The first four included college training through the N.R.O.T.C. at Oregon State and Kansas University with summer cruises each year. The last three were shipboard tours as a Supply Officer on the Gardiner's Bay (AVP-39) and Hamilton County (LST-802) in the Western Pacific. The ride was awesome! http://navystories.net/ |

| In 1993, the retirement plans are detailed and ambitious, none of which are actually followed. As random events often become our master planners, we move to Florida where I start four more careers: 1. photographer, 2. webmaster, 3. world traveler, and 4. golfer. While searching for an enduring project, Barack
Hussein Obama's election provides a virtually
limitless opportunity to respond with
shock and awe.
His ultra liberal voting record plus the rogues'
gallery of former and current associates should
provide years of fascinating stimulus material.
A collection of white papers has already been
posted, and he has yet to be sworn into office.
What a magnificent goose. http://obamasgoose.com/ http://baracksgoose.com/ You are here now |

This is a
collection of stories about other kids as they grow up,
and do what kids do. A few are liberally sprinkled with
pictures. One picture is X-rated for parents, but the
kids will thoroughly enjoy it, 'cause they are still
kids. Want to know which story includes the picture?
No telling! http://bobandlois.net/bobandlois_files/kidscorner/kids.htm |

Seated on
a one-legged milk stool, I am hanging uselessly on the
